The best way to connect with yourself every day

self-love blog

Hello! Welcome, I’m so happy to have you here.
This is the first post of February, and I’m very excited because this month’s theme relates to everything I aim to discuss in this blog.

In other words, this is our month!

Today, I will share my best tool for practicing self-connection when I have no time.

Practical ways to connect with yourself.

Jewelry with meaning is a powerful tool to connect with yourself and practice self-love because it’s something that we incorporate into our daily routine and that many of us love.

Most people think that wellness, self-connection, self-love, and care require much time and effort, so they don’t even try to achieve the lifestyle they really want.

We go about our days with high levels of stress, zero empathy for others (and ourselves), and no sense of purpose in life.
Fortunately, we can make a change. We can change ourselves. We can change how we face the chaotic situations we encounter daily.

For many years, I lived with that stress and struggled every day to find my purpose in life.
Fortunately, I was able to get out of that mindset. As I have shared with you, thanks to therapy, I was able to start connecting with myself and making changes in my life.

In my personal growth journey, I came across jewelry making and fell in love with it.
Working full-time and being a mom and a wife left me with little time to myself, but I wanted to find a practical way to connect with myself and find balance in my day.

Jewelry with meaning was my perfect way.

Jewelry with meaning: a tool for self-connection and self-love

As I became more involved in jewelry making, I started to see jewelry as a powerful tool. I gave meaning to my pieces and began to use them as reminders of ideas or words that symbolized the qualities or strengths I wanted to connect with.

I still do this to this day, and I love it.

Looking at my bracelet or earrings during the day not only makes me appreciate the piece itself but also reminds me that I’m strong, that I can be patient, that I’m creative, that I deserve good things, etc.

This makes a big impact on my day.

Here is why:

1. Jewelry is with you all the time

As I mentioned before, picking up your accessories and putting them on takes only 5 minutes, but they last all day. You come in contact with your jewelry when you look in the mirror, when you wash your hands, when you fix your hair, etc. These moments are great to remember their purpose.

    2. It doesn’t require time or effort.

Our day is already complicated, so let’s make it a little simpler and more practical. Wearing jewelry as a tool makes it easy to practice self-connection and self-love, as it requires minimum time and effort.

      3. It can be a reflection of your personality or tastes.

Most women love to wear jewelry and wear it every day. It’s a way to show our personality and taste. Wearing your jewelry with meaning while accessorizing your outfits is fascinating. It makes us a little happier!

How and Where to start wearing jewelry with meaning?

      Start small.

      1. You only need 5 minutes of your day to start.

Since I understood that prioritizing myself was key to overcoming my day, I started getting up  5 minutes earlier to have 5 minutes extra to pick up my jewelry and connect with the affirmation or idea that I wanted to focus on during my day.

      2. Find one quality or strength you want to use as an anchor, something that truly means something to you.

The first time I did this, I would use phrases that didn’t resonate with me, such as “I love myself.” At the time, I couldn’t even understand who I was, and saying this didn’t work. Until I started to accept myself and really found something that I felt identified with, I used “I’m trying,” “I want to love myself,” etc.

So start small, a step before.

The world is already complicated, so finding practical ways to overcome life’s obstacles is important. Jewelry is the most effective and practical way to practice self-connection daily, even if you don’t have much time.

      1. Have you ever used jewelry as a tool?

      2. Do you have a unique anchor piece?

      3. Would you like to know how I can help you with your jewelry?
