Hello Everyone! I’m so happy to have you here. Today, I would like to share the main benefits of self connection that can lead you to a balanced lifestyle.
But what does it mean to connect with yourself?
Self connection is to intentionally focus your attention on your thoughts, emotions, and sensations.
Here are the main benefits of doing this.
1. Self Awareness

Connecting with yourself makes you aware of your thoughts, sensations, and emotions.
Practicing self-connection is important because we live in a world where we are demanded so many things by so many people, and we tend to forget about ourselves. This lifestyle leaves us with a feeling of emptiness and worthlessness.
Being aware of ourselves improves our sense of worthiness and opens our minds to recognize our essential needs and own demands, therefore we are more prompted to act in our own benefit. As you can see, self-connetion creates a chain of positive actions toward ourselves that can lead us to a more balanced lifestyle.
Self-awareness ignited my personal growth journey. I was able to realize how much I had ignored myself for so long, and I started to find ways to take care of my emotional needs. As a result, I experienced a positive change in my life.

2. Live with Less Stress

Among many other factors, feeling pressure and a sense of no control are key factors for stress. That’s why taking care of our emotional needs and demands can reduce our levels of stress. When we practice self-connection, we feel loved and cared for.
Our mind is open to meeting and facing life’s demands with a better attitude and a positive perspective. This can make us make better decisions every day, which can lead us to a better quality of life. By practicing self connection we can have more control over our lives, supporting a balanced lifestyle.
Before I started actively working on my personal growth, I lived with stress and frustration every day, every hour, and every minute. Stress was a permanent state in my life, and I didn’t even realize it. I couldn’t distinguish the symptoms of stress because I was so used to it and thought it was normal. It wasn’t until I practiced self-connection and started to experience sensations of happiness and peace that I noticed how much stress my mind used to handle. Believe me, I don’t want to feel that way again, and you shouldn’t either.
3. Sense wellness and happiness.

We all want to feel good and be happy, but we often cannot recognize what’s good for us or makes us happy. When we practice Self-Connection, we become more aware of our emotions, thoughts, and sensations. This is why I find this to be the most important benefit of this practice.
It allows us to recognize what makes us feel good or bad quickly. Then, we become more conscious about our actions. When we know what’s best for us, we tend to act accordingly to maintain our wellness and happiness.
Self connection is a great tool that has allowed me to achieve a balanced life because, in a broad sense, it creates an ongoing beneficial process by enhancing self-awareness. This allows me to live with less stress and finally have a greater sense of overall wellness and happiness, leading me to a more balanced lifestyle.
Conclusion
For many years, I felt lost and assumed that feeling tired and unpleasant was normal. It wasn’t until I started to connect with myself that I became aware of my negative thoughts and the sensation of frustration and stress.
I didn’t even know where to start, but through therapy, I was able to find ways to recognize and fulfill my own demands while seeking a balance in life.
